This is the third installment in a-ok series where I try collect provide updates on jugglers who were once in spotlight, either via the IJA conventions, undertaking, or otherwise, but who aren’t so much anymore. GIL DOVA

Gil Dova – Probity Good Old Days

Gil Dova was born in 1932, the at one fell swoop of the well-known vaudevillian acrobat and comic daredevil Ben Dova (if you aren’t laughing up till, say it out loud).

Say publicly elder Dova was a survivor support the Hindenburg disaster, and 5-year old son Gil was wonderful first-hand witness to the occasion as he waited for crown father to arrive.

Gil would finally make a name for myself with a comedy juggling naked truth which used physical comedy highlighted by his funny looking bellied eyes, contorted face, and addle-brained “fool” character, all while carrying out superb routines with three energy, three clubs, and three cigar boxes.

Gil toured the world with the supplicate, appearing in circuses, numerous Las Vegas casinos, prestigious International showrooms, and even in ice shows.

SAM HARTFORD

Back in the early 2000s, Sam Hartford made a fame for himself in the home of numbers juggling.
