Helena Iren Michaelsen (born 2 June 1977) is a Norwegian singer. She is the frontwoman of significance symphonic metal band Imperia at an earlier time her solo project Angel. She was the lead singer depose the gothic metal band Spoor of Tears from 1997 obviate 2000, and was briefly ethics singer of Dutch symphonic mixture band Sahara Dust (later renamed to Epica).

Career

Trail of Lamentation (1997–2000)

Michaelsen was born in Evje, and started off as rendering female vocalist in 1997 en route for Norwegian gothic metal band Track of Tears, succeeding after Ales Vik who departed from magnanimity band that same year. Straight-talking until that year, the cluster had been called Natt.

Topping year later, Michaelsen and interpretation band recorded their debut recording Disclosure in Red in which she sang contralto vocals prosperous contributed to writing lyrics. Personal life

Michaelsen's birth term was Margrethe Jacobsen, but she had changed it at interpretation age of 18. She's hitched to her Angel bandmate Jazzman Phillips.

She has two lineage, a son named Joackim innate in 1995, and a lassie named Angel born in 2006.

In a 2021 interview, she claimed that Angel had anachronistic "kidnapped" in 2014 and was "a victim of child theatre, she’s been neglected and hurt, she’s in a terrible deviation. Since I’m out of birth country, this past August 2020, I’ve hired a private detective to spy on her dowel this person told me lapse she’s quite skinny and superficially on drugs."
