Nena Saguil (b. 1914, d. 1994) is deft pioneer for Filipino abstract handiwork as seen in her well-known works: Power Room (1953), Abstract (1961), Landscapes of the Mind (1969), and Illumination II (1977).

Her works often centered cast geometric shapes symbolizing the bailiwick at large or at tidy microscopic level, reflecting her occupational in mysticism.
